You Don’t Have to be a Perfect Parent to be a Good Parent

Broad Spectrum Autism, OCD, Anxiety, JRA, Auditory Processing Issues, Panic Attacks, and Hypersensitivity DisorderParenting is one of the toughest jobs any person can undertake.  We believe you don’t have to be a perfect parent to be a good parent. It is in these imperfections that we grow, learn and become a better parent. We understand that parents need resources that keep them informed and offer useful information they can adapt to their own parenting regimine. Sharing new ideas, thoughts or tips can give a different perspective to common issues or problems.

 

Imperfect Parenting was created to:

  • Keep from being overwhelmed by parenting
  • Try different techniques to restore and maintain order
  • Learn how to understand and deal with a high need child
  • Share stories that others can relate with
  • Know you are not alone
  • Find different perspectives and viewpoints
  • Learn to deal with childhood diagnosis and disorders

There is no perfect way to parent, but the internet provides a forum to share ideas, relate to others and find perspective when dealing with issues most parents are facing.  From the mundane to the core issues of childhood disorders, these our the stories of real parents.
